Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the timeline for WPDC?

Step 1: Submit your short abstract
The process begins with the submission of a short abstract (approximately 150 words). This abstract serves as the basis for presentation selection. Following review, you will receive a notification of acceptance or rejection.

Step 2: Register for the conference
A few weeks after the short abstract submission opens, registration will become available to all participants—both presenters and general attendees. Please note that early registration is encouraged, as discounted rates are available for a limited time through the Early Bird option.

    Step 3: Book your accommodations
Once registered, you are advised to book your hotel using the WPDC discount code provided. This code ensures you receive the discounted rate and helps utilize the room block reserved specifically for conference participants.

Step 4: Submit your extended abstract
If your short abstract is accepted, you will be invited to submit an extended abstract, typically due by mid-January. Please follow the submission guidelines available here [LINK].
Note: If you withdraw your presentation for any reason, your extended abstract will be removed from the Proceedings.

    Step 5: Check the program
Stay informed by monitoring program updates to confirm the date and time of your presentation.

Step 6: Attend the meeting and enjoy!
Join us at WPDC to learn, connect, and have a great time.
